Notable Occurrences: Brazil; Ural Mountains, Russia; several African localities and California, USA

Lepidolite belongs to mica group of minerals and is generally lilac to pink in color and is an ore of lithium. It most often occurs with a layered structure, but most of the lepidolite used in jewelry has a composition of granular crystals and has a pearly luster to it.

Folklore/Metaphysical Properties: Promotes success and prosperity; induces calm and serenity; attracts happiness and serve to open the link to the higher self.
