Imperial JasperImperial Jasper is found in Mexico. It forms in nodules, usually with a chalky white covering that must be removed to reveal the jasper. Although there are many varieties, it is one of the highly prized jaspers on the market today. Colors range from reds and greens, to pinks, greys, tans and other earthy tones. Some of the finer Imperial Jasper is partly translucent. This piece has that translucency.Oval Cut Cabochon 13.5 x 10 x 4mm 4.50 cts.
