Apache Chrysocolla
This blue-green member of the quartz family (also known as Gem Silica) is generally found where copper deposits are mined, deriving it's color from oxidized copper, including locations in the southwest United States. The variety of this particular cabochon is referred to as Apache Chrysocolla. It has other minerals mixed in and is found in one specific mine in Mexico.Oval Cut Cabachon
