This material is from Durango, Mexico and is characterized by translucent lavender bands of chalcedony. This is a very gemmy piece of nicely patterned ribbons of lavender. It's uncommon to find enough solid gemmy material without the matrix to cut a stone this size.Designer Cut Cabachon - Tongue
