Cats-Eye Opalite is found near the Tanzania/Burundi border. I've only seen this material uncut offered from New Era Gems (which is where I've obtained it), so here's a plug for them (especially since all the information I have is from them)... It's a very unique and beautiful stone, displaying a strong "cats-eye" effect in this translucent honey colored stone.
